The programme of secondary education (GCSE)

GCSE exams are an important first step to studying at a leading UK university

The GCSE Programme (General Certificate of Secondary Education) will build on the knowledge you have achieved from your current education, teaching essential subjects and skills to prepare for A levels or the International Baccalaureate.

Students choose 5 - 12 subjects and study intensively for two-years to take examinations at the end of the second academic year - acquiring GCSE qualifications in essential UK subjects.

Students need a minimum of five GCSE exams at grades A* to C to be sure of a place to study A Levels or International Baccalaureate at a top UK boarding school or college.

Intensive one year GCSE programme for International students - IGCSE

One advantage of studying a one-year GCSE programme is that students take their GCSE exams after just one year of study. Students achieve this by very intensive study in small classes with dedicated teachers who are specialists in their subjects.
